As a Health Services Administrator (HSA) at YesCare, you will be responsible for a variety of essential functions:

  • RN License Requirement: Must possess a valid RN license in Florida.
  • Healthcare Management: Oversee the healthcare delivery system while collaborating with various institutional functions.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the budget and financial performance of the facility, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to supervisory and corporate offices.
  • Operational Planning: Develop and supervise the operational plan for the facility, directing the activities of assigned personnel.
  • Staff Management: Ensure appropriate staffing levels in accordance with contractual obligations and oversee staff scheduling.
  • Recruitment Coordination: Participate in the interviewing and selection process for staff and Independent Contractors, ensuring effective orientation and training for new hires.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure adherence to all YesCare and applicable client systems and applications.
  • Audit Coordination: Facilitate the Medical Audit Committee and manage monthly meetings.
  • Accreditation Maintenance: Secure and maintain necessary accreditations and inspections as specified by management, ensuring compliance with correctional and YesCare policies.
  • External Coordination: Collaborate with Hospital Administrators and external health service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Safety Enforcement: Uphold and enforce all safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Performance Evaluations: Conduct annual performance evaluations for all personnel, including peer reviews.
  • Corrective Action Plans: Ensure timely and accurate completion of CAPs (Corrective Action Plans) as necessary.
  • Employee Management: Counsel and discipline employees as needed for policy breaches.
  • Decision-Making: Exercise discretion and independent judgment in planning and managing facility operations.
  • Meeting Participation: Attend required regional and corporate meetings.
  • Health Services Planning: Coordinate the annual health services planning process for the facility.
  • On-Call Responsibilities: Accept on-call cell phone duties as needed.
  • Confidentiality Compliance: Uphold all regulations governing patient confidentiality.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
