Job Summary

The Sales Manager oversees new- and used-vehicle inventory and sales at Audi Cape Fear.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise, hire, and train a high-performing sales team.
    • Acquire or order new and used vehicles to meet sales goals.
  • Performance Management
    • Establish measurable performance goals using gross and net profits, unit sales, etc.
    • Inspire and motivate the team to attain sales goals.
    • Evaluate each team member's performance and productivity.
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Develop sales campaigns and monitor factory-sponsored programs.
    • Use merchandising and displays to promote sales of new and used vehicles.
    • Review budgets, market, and sales projections.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Attend manager meetings.
    • Coordinate activities between sales and other departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Two to four years of work-related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
  • Possess basic math skills.
  • Be capable of speaking with customers or employees, reading/understanding manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and safety regulations.
  • Be professional and courteous in attitude, wardrobe, and grooming.
