As a Store Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the store leadership team, guiding and supporting fellow associates.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining strong individual sales performance and assisting with merchandising and operational tasks to enhance the customer experience.

This position serves as an entry-level management opportunity, paving the way for future leadership roles within the store.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide operational and sales support to store associates, ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Drive sales initiatives in alignment with company goals.

Maintain strong individual sales performance while mentoring and guiding fellow associates.

Assist in executing operational tasks to ensure the store is prepared for business, including merchandising, product fulfillment, display functionality, accurate inventory pricing, shipping and receiving, and cycle counting.

Perform opening and closing duties as scheduled by management.

Conduct training for new hires in Sales and Operations.

Act as Manager in Charge during the absence of the store leadership team.


Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a retail or sales environment.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); advanced skills preferred (pivot tables, macros, formulas, v-lookups, etc.).

Experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

Intermediate knowledge of musical instruments available at Guitar Center (Guitars, Drums, Tech, etc.).
