Job Overview

**Position Summary:**

  • Support procurement activities in North America
  • Monitor tendering project schedules
  • Ensure visibility of potential risks
  • Facilitate transition to operational ordering
  • Acquire goods and/or services following Airbus approach
Key Responsibilities

**Primary Responsibilities:**

  • Facilitate procurement transactions
  • Ensure contract data availability
  • Prepare spend data analysis
  • Perform "Local for Local" procurement activities
  • Contribute to Airbus Group's Savings Programs
  • Develop relationships with various functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned

**Additional Responsibilities:**

  • Lead & support development of procurement techniques and guidelines
  • Engage in strategic and transactional activities
Requirements

**Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:**

  • Five or more years of procurement experience
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of finance, operations, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Effective team participant and leader
  • Experience in manufacturing organization

**Education/Special Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering
  • Project Management, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Certifications
  • Fluency in English, French, German, or Spanish
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment

**Working Conditions/Physical Demands:**

  • Various physical demands may be required
  • Domestic and international travel may be necessary
  • Ability to operate a computer and create documents
  • Ability to engage in negotiations and make presentations
