  • We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist and Assistant Supply Chain Manager to procure goods and services in accordance with departmental and organizational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase goods and services in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.


  • Lead, develop, train, and mentor a team of procurement professionals.
  • Issue, review, and approve compliant purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with vendors to negotiate the best price, value, and terms.
  • Maintain pricing histories and other vendor records.
  • Evaluate vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history.

Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills.


  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Thorough understanding of procurement procedures and policies.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Deltek Costpoint experience a plus and preferred but not required.
  • Flight parts purchasing experience preferred but not required.
  • 10 years of buying or purchasing related experience a plus and preferred.
