Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Arizona Supreme Court, Administrative Office of the Court as a Criminal Law Research Specialist III. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert research and analysis on criminal law matters, including reviewing motions and petitions filed as habeas corpus or miscellaneous criminal matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct extensive and complex factual and legal research
  • Review petitions, motions, and responses
  • Analyze information and prepare written summaries for attorney review
  • Manage case flow and maintain excel lists
  • Create statistical reports for the office
Requirements
  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited college or university or an associate degree and a minimum of two years' experience as a legal specialist or paralegal or similar experience pertinent to criminal law and research
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform tasks independently with minimal supervision
