Job Summary

Advanced Diagnostic Group is seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and performing high-quality MR studies. You will work closely with radiologists, team members, patients, and customers to provide exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety: Responsible for pre-screening patients for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, and remote MR Technologist Assistant oversight.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Produces high-quality diagnostic images using multiple MR systems.
  • Communication: Demonstrates effective communication skills to address concerns, solve problems, and address conflict using all channels of communication.
  • Training and Orientation: Trains and orients new technologists, patient coordinators, and MR Technologist Assistants on site and/or remotely.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Registered Technologist by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMDS. MR registered technologist R.T. (MR) ARRT or ARMRIT.
  • Experience: 3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience or currently enrolled for more than 6 months in an accredited MRI training program.
  • Licenses: State license. Licensed Radiologic Technologist or Magnetic Resonance Technologist, if applicable.
  • Certifications: CPR Certification. BLS upon hire, ACLS within 90 days of employment, if applicable.
  • Physical Requirements: The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. The employee will be exposed to a strong magnetic field. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease, communicable disease when interacting with patients, environmental hazards such as exposure to noise, and travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Experience.
  • Certifications: Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT.
