Position Overview

As a vital member of the healthcare team, the Breast Imaging Specialist will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct mammography procedures adhering to established protocols and physician directives.
  • Provide exceptional patient care by ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns during examinations.
  • Maintain precise patient documentation, including exam details and relevant medical history.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and contribute to patient care decisions.
  • Follow radiation safety standards to minimize exposure risks for patients and staff.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program recognized by the AMA Council of Education.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience in mammography.
  • Possession of an active Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
  • Registered as a Mammography Technologist (ARRT) and Radiography Technologist (ARRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
