You will work closely with radiologists, team members, patients, and customers to provide exceptional care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Safety and Quality Control
    • Responsible for pre-screening patients for contraindications and ensuring aseptic injection technique.
    • May require remote oversight of MR Technologist Assistants.
  • Diagnostic Imaging
    • Produces high-quality diagnostic images using multiple MR systems.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Demonstrates effective communication skills to address concerns, solve problems, and address conflict.
    • Communicates effectively with customers and radiologists.
  • Training and Development
    • Trains and orients new technologists, patient coordinators, and MR Technologist Assistants.
  • Position Requirements
    • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
    • Registered Technologist by the ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMDS.
    • MR registered technologist R.T. (MR) ARRT or ARMRIT.
    • Technologist registered in other modalities.
    • 3 months supervised MRI clinical scanning experience or currently enrolled in an accredited MRI training program.
    • State license.
    • CPR Certification.
    • BLS upon hire, ACLS within 90 days of employment.
    • Active State Driver's License.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.
    • 1 year of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Experience.
    • Registry in Magnetic Resonance by the ARRT.
  • Physical Requirements
    • May be exposed to outside weather conditions during patient transport.
    • Exposed to a strong magnetic field.
    • May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
    • Environmental hazards such as exposure to noise.
