Job Summary:

RAYUS Radiology is seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Imaging Services: Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses and injuries.
  • Patient Preparation: Screen patients before exams for any precautions or contraindications, prepare patients for MR procedures, and provide patient support throughout the examination.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain equipment in good working order, clean and disinfect equipment after each use, and assist with software upgrades and protocol manual updates.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates to ensure seamless patient care and efficient imaging services.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS).

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in MRI imaging or a related field.
  • Certifications: ARRT (R) certification in MRI required.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position, working 30 hours per week with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
