POSITION SUMMARY The FOH Lead is responsible for managing the daily operations of our café, ensuring that guests receive outstanding food and beverage service. This role demands a strong foundation in hospitality and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of the dining experience.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Oversee shifts to guarantee consistent delivery of exceptional food and service.
- Ensure adherence to company standards regarding quality and customer satisfaction.
- Train and mentor team members to enhance service quality and product knowledge.
- Identify and implement improvements in productivity, guest experience, and safety protocols.
- Manage inventory effectively and resolve any food quality or service concerns promptly.
- Supervise opening and closing operations for the café.
- Monitor dining and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a talent for fostering teamwork.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to delegate tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptable and proactive in a dynamic work environment.
- Prior experience in restaurant and hospitality management is essential.
- Knowledge of healthy culinary practices and experience with catering services is preferred.
- Familiarity with Toast software is advantageous.
- Understanding of OSHA and health regulations is beneficial.
- A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience is required.
