New Business Development Leader

This New Business Development Leader position is a high-impact opportunity to join our growing team at Shaffer Distributing Co.
We're looking for a seasoned professional with 4-6 years of experience in business development, account management, or outside sales, preferably in a product or distributor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning the full sales cycle - From building a strong pipeline to closing deals.
- Meeting with clients to understand their needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Closing deals and ensuring successful onboarding.
- Prospecting and building relationships with new potential clients, while also nurturing existing accounts.
- Collaborating cross-departmentally to ensure smooth communication and exceptional service.
- Helping grow our brand and expanding our market presence.
- Attending industry events, conferences, and seminars to stay ahead of trends and expand your network.
About You:
- A proven ability to prospect, engage, and close sales.
- Strong face-to-face sales experience with a track record of meeting sales targets.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite & CRMs.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to engage with large groups.
- A strong sense of accountability and drive to deliver results.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% across the US to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of the Family Entertainment and/or Vending industry is a plus.
Compensation Package:
- A competitive salary of $80,000 per year, plus an annual team-based bonus.
