Short DescriptionMinimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare leadership at a managerial level or higher. A combination of education, experience, and background may also be considered.
Proficient in exercising strong leadership, initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve both local and organizational objectives.
Proven experience in enhancing outcomes in assigned areas through innovative and sustainable strategies.
Knowledgeable in utilizing electronic health records to monitor key practice statistics, patient access metrics, and clinic operations.
Exceptional organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with comfort in engaging with all levels of personnel.
Demonstrated excellence in customer service, patient experience, and operational enhancement within the ambulatory environment.
Strong understanding of business and medical administration principles, management, and relationship management.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements in an ambulatory context, particularly regarding HIPAA, scheduling, and billing.
- Oversee the management of clinical and business operations at assigned sites, ensuring the delivery of quality clinical services, enhancing patient experience, managing materials, implementing software, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining equipment, and managing the environment of care.
- Support the strategic direction of Ambulatory Operations and the Institute's growth initiatives by operationalizing new programs.
- Exemplify the core values of inclusion, compassion, and excellence.
- Collaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative leadership to eliminate barriers to success and achieve organizational objectives.
- Provide strong, effective, goal-oriented leadership to both direct and indirect reports.
- Support and meet goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems across all operational areas within your span of control.
- Coordinate and maintain standardized work procedures and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across Ambulatory Operations.
- Mentor, develop, and hold accountable direct reports while fostering a culture of trust in your areas of responsibility.
- Implement and validate leadership tools such as rounding on patients, employees, and providers, and practice recognition of key behaviors.
- Create quarterly action plans focused on achieving annual role-specific and organizational goals.
- Conduct data reporting and analysis to inform decision-making aimed at meeting organizational objectives.
- Engage in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations.
- Perform all related duties and/or special projects as required.
Education Requirements
Associate degree or bachelor's degree preferred.
