Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgical Center team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing ambulatory surgical procedures
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and coordinate care with the interprofessional healthcare team
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage emergencies in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Texas or compact state licensure
  • Two years of experience in a preop/PACU, ICU, or ED environment
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong assessment, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality care
Preferred Qualifications
  • CAPA or CPAN certification
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology
