Healthcare Assistant Trainee:

What to anticipate as a Healthcare Assistant Trainee:
Prepare for an extensive, compensated training program that equips you to become a certified State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) in Kentucky.

Training encompasses:


75 hours of online or classroom instructionHands-on clinical experienceMentorshipJob preparation for the Kentucky Board of Nursing Competency Evaluation ExaminationAfter completing over a month of combined classroom and practical training, you will feel assured and ready to undertake your State Competency Evaluation Examination with the Kentucky Board of Nursing.

What you can expect as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
Enhance the quality of life for residents through personalized caregiving and attentive support for their needs.

Provide timely and effective assistance to residents with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, obtaining and accurately recording vital signs, mobility support, nutrition, and social engagement.

Contribute valuable insights to the resident care plan by being well-informed about and understanding the care requirements of each resident.

Encourage independence, foster social interaction, and advocate for the well-being of our residents in a manner that enriches their quality of life.

Serve as a trusted resource for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Eligibility to enroll in an approved Nurse Aide Training Program is required, along with the necessity to pass a state-approved competency evaluation within 120 days of employment.
