As a Concierge, you will have the opportunity to connect with residents and positively influence their daily experiences. Your responsibilities will include delivering personalized assistance and exceptional customer service to residents, staff, and visitors, while also supporting administrative tasks as needed.
Your impact as a Concierge will include:
- Greeting residents, visitors, and guests, providing outstanding customer service and assistance as they enter the community.
- Overseeing the community's entry and exit points, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and signing in guests and residents.
- Engaging regularly with residents to ensure they feel valued and cared for.
- Handling the receipt and distribution of mail and packages.
- Managing incoming and outgoing calls, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Assisting management with clerical and administrative tasks, as well as supporting the Sales & Marketing team with inquiries.
- Helping residents schedule personal transportation services and make reservations for community events in collaboration with the Life Enrichment Director.
- Overseeing the sale of guest meals and processing credit card transactions when necessary.
- Submitting maintenance requests on behalf of residents.
- Monitoring emergency response systems and fire alarm panels.
- Facilitating effective communication between community staff and residents' families regarding care and wellbeing.
- Collaborating well with others, taking direction from management, and demonstrating initiative in conflict resolution.
- Remaining adaptable and available to work weekends as needed.
- Meeting the physical demands of the role, which may include standing, moving, and lifting up to 50 pounds independently, and up to 200 pounds with assistance.
- Performing additional job-related duties as assigned by management.
To qualify for the Concierge position, you will need:
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred, though not mandatory.
- Prior experience in customer service, ideally within a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environment.
- CPR or BLS certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Internet browsers (e.g., Explorer, Chrome, Firefox), Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher), and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
