Our organization encompasses multiple hospitals, specialized clinics, and a robust Medical Group throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky.

Responsibilities

Deliver nursing care in accordance with established nursing protocols
- Evaluate, diagnose, plan, execute, and assess nursing interventions
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare providers
- Provide care aligned with patient care standards and evidence-based nursing practices

Essential Key Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and enhance knowledge and skills pertinent to patient care in the clinical environment
  • Assess and interpret patient conditions utilizing critical analysis
  • Formulate and adjust care plans as necessary
  • Incorporate ethical considerations into nursing practice
  • Administer medications and therapeutic interventions
  • Assess patient outcomes and effectiveness of care
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and nursing actions
  • Delegate responsibilities to support staff as appropriate
  • Collaborate with team members and assist in the education of nursing students
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program

Required Licensure and Certifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training

  • Strong critical thinking abilities
  • Familiarity with contemporary nursing practices
  • Competence in performing clinical skills
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation and use of computer systems
