Your RoleYou will play a key part in our fast-paced organization, working with prospective borrowers to explain our loan programs, address their questions, and ensure a good mutual fit.
You will utilize our proprietary HQ software to interact with clients over the phone, text, and email, advising them, moving loans forward, and helping them close the loan.
We seek a highly motivated, client-centric individual who excels in making money and is passionate about helping real people succeed in business.
Responsibilities- Understand and clearly explain New Silver's value proposition, products, and process.
- Drive sales with a consultative approach.
- Meet and beat monthly sales goals (expected origination volume $5mm+ per month).
- Build relationships with borrowers and earn repeat business.
- Communicate with borrowers via phone, email, and SMS.
- Be available after 5pm and have flexibility to accommodate clients.
- Ability to spend 1 day per week in the West Hartford office.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3+ years of successful professional experience as a loan originator or loan officer in the commercial and non-owner occupied residential real estate space (adjacent experience can be considered).
- Highly motivated.
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Experience with office technology such as Microsoft Office and G-Suite.
- Outstanding verbal and written skills that enable you to provide an excellent customer experience with borrowers and business partners.
