Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at Dakota Outdoorscapes. As a Construction Laborer, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects and ensuring their successful completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris, removing obstacles, and setting up safety barriers and signs.
  • Transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the work area, including loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts, or other machinery, and organizing materials on site.
  • Install seasonal decorations, such as holiday lights, wreaths, or garlands, as required.
  • Assist in demolition, including tearing down and removing materials, using hand tools, power tools, or heavy machinery to safely dismantle structures and dispose of debris.
  • Contribute to hardscape installation, including measuring and marking the layout, mixing and pouring concrete, and laying pavers or stones.
  • Remove snow from driveways, pathways, and outdoor areas, using shovels, snow blowers, or snowplows to clear the snow and create safe walking and driving surfaces.
  • Provide support to skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, landscapers, and plumbers, by helping with measuring, cutting, and fitting materials, running cables or pipes, or other tasks as directed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sweeping, removing trash and debris, and ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored at the end of the day.
Requirements
  • No prior experience or education required.
  • Ability to lift and sustain 70 pounds.
  • Availability to work 40 regular hours per week, with possible overtime.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, with possible Saturday work.
Benefits
  • Starting wage: $24.05 per hour to $24.25 per hour.
  • Possible overtime starting from $36.08 per hour to $36.38 per hour.
  • Reimbursement for inbound transportation costs in the first workweek of employment.
  • Reimbursement for daily subsistence and hotel costs during travel.
  • Reimbursement for outbound transportation and subsistence at the end of the contract or worker termination date.
  • Optional housing provided at a monthly rental rate of $.
