Electrical Engineer - Battery Specialist

Join Shure's team of innovative engineers and contribute to the design and development of safe, reliable, and accurate battery solutions for our wireless devices. As an Electrical Engineer - Battery Specialist, you will work closely with senior staff to develop, evaluate, and test batteries and power circuitry.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and test batteries and power circuitry
  • Assemble prototypes and perform system/sub-system level tests
  • Monitor running battery tests and maintain the battery lab
  • Collaborate with other Shure Associates on battery recycling needs
Requirements:
  • Completed two years of coursework in Electrical Engineering or related area
  • Basic knowledge of test equipment measurement techniques
  • Basic knowledge of soldering techniques
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of programming (Java, C, C++, or Python)
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of power circuit design concepts
