Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the performance of healthcare compliance specialists by developing clear expectations and providing frequent and constructive feedback.
  • Lead the coordination of periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, accreditation, certification, policy, and procedure requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate audit plans.
  • Document and monitor corrective action plans.
  • Facilitate system-level compliance-related investigations.
  • Oversee the management of complaints and hotline.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of accreditation, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience developing audit plans that align with legal, accreditation, and regulatory standards.
  • Experience managing compliance against requirements in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, document, interpret, and present complex data and information.
  • Experience developing policies and procedures specific to requirements.
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of a diverse workforce.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in business, healthcare, public administration, related clinical disciplines, or Juris Doctor.
  • CPHQ certification and/or training in related healthcare, clinical, and quality management and improvement practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
