Consumer Advocacy & Operational Risk Manager

At The Goldman Sachs Group, we are seeking an experienced Consumer Advocacy & Operational Risk Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing centralized Consumer Advocacy & Operational Risk efforts to drive business outcomes and profitability while protecting the firm against reputational and regulatory risk.

The ideal candidate will have a background in operational risk and/or consumer banking, with prior regulatory experience preferred. They will be skilled in combining data analytics with product knowledge to generate actionable insights and have excellent stakeholder management skills.

The Consumer Advocacy & Operational Risk Manager will oversee and manage a diverse team of professionals, manage cross-functional, regulatory deliverables with strong attention to detail, and serve as administrator for senior-level governance forums.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing centralized Consumer Advocacy & Operational Risk team
  • Overseeing and managing diverse team of professionals
  • Managing cross-functional, regulatory deliverables
  • Serving as administrator for senior-level governance forums

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Background in operational risk and/or consumer banking
  • Prior regulatory experience preferred

  • Possible work locations include New York, Dallas, Wilmington, DE or Draper, UT
