MedStar Health is seeking a Patient and Guest Relations Representative to provide exceptional service to patients, family members, and visitors at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients and visitors to the hospital, providing information and directions to locations throughout the hospital.
  • Coordinate transportation services and escort patients/visitors/staff as necessary.
  • Issue photo identification badges to associates, vendors, and contractors.
  • Oversee the entrances to the facility, offering assistance and services as guests enter.
  • Assist with parking, arrange overnight accommodations, and provide guest services such as wake-up calls and rides/directions to various locations.
  • Monitor waiting areas, interact with doctors, family members, and patients, and provide coffee and answer questions.
  • Resolve patient and visitor complaints, referring complicated complaints to patient advocates, supervisors, and/or affected departments.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of job-related experience.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Organization and ability to handle rapid multi-task situations.
  • General office experience strongly preferred.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.
