About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director of the SU Annual Fund to join our dynamic team at Susquehanna University. As a key member of our Advancement Division, you will play a vital role in driving transformational fundraising efforts, building lasting relationships with alumni, parents, and friends of the university, and contributing to the university's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage key fundraising campaigns, including reunion giving, young alumni and affinity group fundraising, and class agent program development.
  • Engage with donors and prospects through face-to-face meetings, solicitations, and stewardship efforts to gauge interest and capacity in supporting the university.
  • Collaborate with the Advancement Division on major annual fund campaigns and explore new fundraising opportunities.
  • Support the planning and execution of university-wide events, such as Homecoming & Reunion Weekend, Family Weekend, Break Through, and the Annual Scholarship Dinner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Three years of experience in philanthropic fundraising, nonprofit organizations, public relations, advertising, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using database software, email, calendar tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
