Position Overview:

The Medication Administration Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality care within our facility.

About Us:
Sierra Health and Wellness Centers is dedicated to utilizing evidence-based practices to aid in the recovery of individuals and families facing challenges related to substance use and mental health. Our serene inpatient environment accommodates 12 clients, ensuring personalized attention and care.

Available Shifts:
  • Per Diem-Noc (11pm - 7:30am)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the attending physician to implement care plans and follow prescribed orders for patients.
  • Monitor and supervise patients undergoing detoxification, assessing their withdrawal symptoms and communicating findings to the medical team.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration, vital signs, and other pertinent information to support clinical decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with state health regulations and facility policies regarding medication management.
  • Deliver exceptional individualized care to each patient, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisory staff.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to client confidentiality.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Recent TB test and health screening (available during onboarding).
  • Certification as a Medication Technician or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Compensation:
Hourly rate: $26.50
The stated pay range reflects the organization's good faith estimate for this position based on various factors, including experience and business needs.
