The State Water Resources Control Board's Division of Water Quality is seeking to fill two Administrative Support Specialist positions within the Fiscal & Program Analysis and Administrative Support Section.

Under the general oversight of the Staff Services Manager II, and in alignment with exemplary customer service practices and the objectives of the State and Regional Board's Strategic Plan, the selected candidates are expected to demonstrate professionalism and provide prompt responses to both internal and external stakeholders. It is essential to follow through on commitments and actively seek and incorporate feedback from customers when executing work tasks.

Key Qualifications

Applicants must exhibit essential personal attributes such as integrity, initiative, reliability, sound judgment, the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, and the capability to fulfill the responsibilities associated with this role.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is determined in accordance with CalHR salary regulations, allowing for appointment at the entry-level rate. For classifications with alternative ranges, placement is contingent upon education and experience.

Employees of the Water Board may qualify for various benefits. Health insurance and leave programs are available for most permanent, full-time employees, as well as some permanent, part-time employees. Eligibility for benefits may depend on the duration of service and could be subject to collective bargaining agreements that outline wages, hours, and employment conditions.
