About the Role

As a RN Care Manager Hematology Specialist at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, you will play a critical role in supporting our Hematology, Sarcoma, and Liquid tumor teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with nationally renowned cancer experts who deliver state-of-the-art care and exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and facilitate quality management of a broad-based outpatient population across the continuum of care.
  • Provide skilled triage and assessment, education, collaboration, and coordination of healthcare and community resources.
  • Support the care team in the provision of patient care.
  • Provide patient advice and guidance.
  • Assist in prioritizing daily work of the clinic.
  • Provide direction to team members, including oversight of Medical Assistant's clinical competency.
Requirements
  • Current Washington State licensure as an RN.
  • CPR certification is required every two years.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Strong patient assessment skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Current working knowledge of electronic medical records.
