Our dedicated Oncology team is experienced and collaborative, consisting of oncologists and advanced practitioners who provide care for patients referred from various sources within the community.

Your Role

  1. Engage in a comprehensive cancer care program, including opportunities to lead or participate in clinical research trials
  2. Participate in specialized tumor board meetings addressing various cancer types (e.g., gastrointestinal, genitourinary, breast, lung, neuro-oncology, hematologic malignancies)
  3. Utilize advanced technology and diagnostic tools, including onsite PET scanning services
  4. Collaborate closely with academic institutions and research centers
  5. Benefit from established primary care referral networks within the community
  6. Work alongside a dedicated care coordinator and scheduling team, supported by a robust financial authorization department
  7. Provide comprehensive infusion services, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies

Compensation and Benefits:

  1. Starting bonus of $40,000
  2. Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives, transitioning to a productivity-based salary after the first year
  3. Generous vacation policy of 4 weeks+, plus 1 week for continuing medical education with a substantial stipend, malpractice coverage, and a complete benefits package
  4. Encouragement of a healthy work-life balance

Qualifications Required:

  1. Unrestricted Maryland Physician (MD/DO) License or the ability to obtain it prior to employment
  2. Successful completion of an accredited Residency/Fellowship program or the ability to secure this prior to employment
  3. Board Certified or Board Eligible in medical oncology or hematology and oncology

Note for Maryland Residents: The salary range for Maryland residents is competitive and varies based on experience and performance metrics. The actual compensation package may include a mix of base salary and bonuses, reflecting individual qualifications and achievements. In addition to salary, MedChi offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive programs and retirement contributions (subject to eligibility).
