Advanced Practice Provider (NP) in Hematology Oncology
AMN Healthcare, Inc. is seeking two skilled Advanced Practice Providers to fill critical roles in the field of Hematology Oncology. These positions include one focused on inpatient care for Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) and immunotherapy, and another dedicated to outpatient immunotherapy services. The selected candidates will collaborate with a team of 50 Advanced Practice Providers who specialize in the care of patients undergoing blood and marrow transplants and immunotherapy treatments.
Inpatient BMT/Immunotherapy Role
- Engage with an interdisciplinary team on the inpatient wards, providing care through 12.5-hour rotating shifts, ensuring coverage throughout the week.
- Manage 11-13 day shifts each month, focusing on comprehensive care for medical oncology and hematology inpatients.
- Conduct procedures such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures, adhering to licensure and scope of practice.
Outpatient Immunotherapy Role
- Dedicated to outpatient services, offering a balanced work-life with a 4-day work week, free from on-call duties and weekend shifts.
- Benefit from a robust support system, collaborating with attending physicians, nursing staff, clinical pharmacists, social workers, dieticians, transition RNs, research coordinators, and patient care coordinators.
- Focus on adult patients primarily dealing with hematologic malignancies and select solid tumors.
