About the Role

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Crop Insurance Agent to join our team. As a Crop Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for developing a book of business by working closely with farmers to help them manage their risk through the sale of crop insurance products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a book of business by working with farmers to identify their risk management needs and provide tailored crop insurance solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing clients to meet growth and retention goals.
  • Work closely with farmers to understand their operations and develop risk management plans that meet their specific needs.
  • Collect and complete all necessary paperwork with precision and accuracy.
  • Travel to meet with customers during peak seasons and work extended hours as needed.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in agriculture or a related field.
  • Proven sales experience with a strong track record of success.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Agricultural, or Finance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in crop insurance or a related field.
  • Experience as a crop insurance agent or company representative.
  • Successful business development and customer service experience.
