    • Create risk profiles for suppliers, vendors, assembly sites, and other critical components of the supply chain.
  2. Data Collection and Analysis:
    • Collect and analyze information from diverse open-source platforms, including data repositories, supplier performance metrics, economic indicators, and geopolitical events.
    • Employ both quantitative and qualitative analytical methods to evaluate the vulnerability of the supply chain and identify critical program information.
  3. Risk Mitigation Strategies:
    • Formulate and propose strategies to mitigate identified risks, including contingency planning and alternative supplier options.
    • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operational teams to recommend effective risk mitigation plans.
    • Monitor the success of risk mitigation strategies and suggest necessary adjustments.
  4. Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Evaluate and oversee the risk profiles of key suppliers, focusing on financial health, operational activities, and geopolitical risks.
    • Work alongside clients to enhance their risk management practices and ensure alignment with established risk management frameworks.
  5. Reporting and Communication:
    • Generate detailed reports to convey risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and the current landscape of supply chain risks to senior management and stakeholders.
    • Present findings and recommendations in meetings, adjusting communication to suit varying levels of technical understanding.
  6. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in supply chain risk management.
    • Identify opportunities to enhance risk management processes and tools within the organization.
    • Engage in training and development initiatives to bolster skills and knowledge in supply chain risk management.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, risk management, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in supply chain risk management (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional - CSCP, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control - CRISC) are advantageous.

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in supply chain management software and risk management tools.
    • Strong analytical capabilities, with experience in data analysis, risk modeling, and scenario planning.
    • Familiarity with regulatory standards pertinent to supply chain operations.
    • Competence in utilizing Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and visualization.
