MISSION:
Quantum is in search of a Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Analyst to perform in-depth analysis of open-source supply chain data that is vital to the operations of the Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO) and associated U.S. Army entities. This role entails recognizing threats and potential risks to system components through comprehensive open-source data evaluation in accordance with DoD standards.
A SCRM Analyst is essential in pinpointing, evaluating, and alleviating risks within an organization's supply chain. This position emphasizes maintaining the continuity, security, and resilience of the supply chain by scrutinizing potential threats and vulnerabilities that could compromise critical information or disrupt operations. This role is crucial for ensuring the robustness and dependability of the supply chain.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Identification and Assessment:
- Recognize threats and potential risks within the supply chain, encompassing suppliers, logistics, geopolitical factors, regulatory shifts, and environmental influences.
- Conduct comprehensive risk evaluations to determine the likelihood and potential repercussions of identified risks on supply chains.
- Create risk profiles for suppliers, vendors, assembly sites, and other essential supply chain elements.
- Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect and scrutinize data from diverse open-source channels, including data repositories, supplier performance metrics, economic indicators, and geopolitical trends.
- Employ quantitative and qualitative analysis methods and tools to evaluate the vulnerability of the supply chain and identify critical program information.
- Risk Mitigation Strategies:
- Formulate and propose strategies to mitigate identified risks, including contingency planning and alternative supplier options.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and suggest necessary adjustments.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Evaluate and monitor the risk profiles of key suppliers, considering financial stability, operational activities, and geopolitical risks.
- Work alongside clients to enhance their risk management practices and ensure alignment with their risk management frameworks.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare comprehensive reports to convey risk assessments, mitigation strategies, and the current state of supply chain risks to senior management and client stakeholders.
- Present findings and recommendations in meetings and briefings, adapting communication to various levels of technical understanding.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Remain informed about the latest trends and advancements in supply chain risk management.
- Identify opportunities to enhance risk management processes and tools within the organization.
- Engage in training and development initiatives to improve skills and knowledge in supply chain risk management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, risk management, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications in supply chain risk management (e.g., Certified Supply Chain Professional - CSCP, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control - CRISC) are preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain management, risk management, or a related area.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and risk management tools.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with experience in data analysis, risk modeling, and scenario planning.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements pertaining to supply chain operations.
- Competence in using Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and visualization.
- TS/SCI eligibility.
