Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to identify and resolve material planning issues, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of materials.
  • Support the procurement process by reviewing manufacturing requirements, determining materials necessary to achieve production plans, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Enter and manage Purchase Requisitions in Costpoint, ensuring accuracy and compliance with program specifications and requirements.
  • Provide timely feedback to support proposal and build efforts, including current and potential shortages, and participate in the development and execution of recovery plans.
  • Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to ensure accurate and up-to-date data, including creation and modification of requisitions, and coordination with Suppliers, Purchasing, Quality, and Materials to ensure the flow of material needed for production.
  • Influence make/buy decisions for established/repeat build products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategies.
  • Support Return Material Authorization (RMA) customer returns as required/needed.
  • Perform other team support functions as needed.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in procurement, inventory control, and/or materials planning role.
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Experience with Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, especially Excel.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to understand technical drawings/requirements.
  • AA/AS in Supply/Operations Management, Business, Accounting, or Finance, or 5 years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Degree in Supply/Operations Management, Business, Accounting, or Finance, or 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience with Costpoint.
  • Experience with contract manufacturing (electrical/mechanical/assy).
  • Product Lifecycle Documentation system's experience.
  • Working knowledge of Government sourcing rules, FAR/DFAR, ITAR, CUIT.
