Position Overview:

The role of Production Assembler II is essential in the assembly of mechanical units, fabricated components, and electrical systems. This position requires precision and attention to detail to ensure that all assemblies meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts and components according to established specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly line equipment effectively to produce high-quality units.
  • Conduct tests and calibrations on parts and mechanisms to ensure compliance with product specifications.
  • Document daily assembly production records accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.

Preferred:

  • Vocational or Technical Training.
  • Experience with computer systems, particularly MS Office.
  • Able to lift up to 45 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours as necessary.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous materials and chemicals is crucial. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in following work instructions and standard operating procedures. Compliance with safety regulations and quality standards is mandatory.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to achieve torque certification and maintain focus in a dynamic work environment. The role may involve working in varying climate conditions and requires regular movement throughout the facility.
