Mechanical Assembly Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
As a Production Assembler Team Lead, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical units, fabricated parts, and electrical systems to create subassemblies and complete units. Your role will involve:
- Operating and maintaining assembly stations to ensure accurate assembly and alignment of components according to specifications.
- Utilizing hand tools, power tools, and various assembly line equipment for unit assembly.
- Testing and calibrating components to verify compliance with product specifications and quality standards.
- Repairing or adjusting units that do not meet established criteria.
- Maintaining accurate daily production records.
- Ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Providing assistance in training new assemblers as needed.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Vocational or technical training degree.
- 7-8 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to remain stationary at a desk or workstation for extended periods.
- Regular movement throughout the facility is required.
- Capability to lift up to 45 pounds.
- Willingness to stand for prolonged periods.
- Exposure to varying climates and the operation of machinery may be necessary.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours may be required.
- This position is classified as Safety Sensitive.
- Focus on quality improvement and promotion.
- Commitment to integrity, ethics, and safety in the workplace.
- Ability to operate with minimal supervision and make independent judgments.
- Familiarity with assembly, calibration, component installation, soldering, troubleshooting, and functional testing.
- Capacity to understand and follow detailed instructions.
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position varies based on location and other factors, with a range of $61,000 to $113,620. Eligible employees may participate in the Company's Gain Sharing Program.
