Responsibilities of the Culinary Team Member

  • Assist in various food preparation tasks and maintain organization within the kitchen.
  • Communicate effectively with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Arrive on time for shifts, dressed in the appropriate uniform.
  • Manage the cooking line during service, upholding the highest standards of quality and fostering polite communication across all departments.
  • Prepare menu items for service, ensuring they meet our established quality, presentation, and portion standards.
  • Oversee the quality and presentation of dishes to guarantee that only the best are served to our patrons.
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene by adhering to cleaning protocols and being diligent throughout the shift.
  • Follow the company's safety and health policies, including fire safety procedures.
  • Utilize all necessary kitchen tools and equipment safely and effectively, including knives.

The above outlines the essential functions of the Culinary Team Member role but does not limit the tasks that may be assigned. Management reserves the right to assign or reassign duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds regularly.
  • Willingness to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
  • Capability to reach for items and bend or stoop as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Visual and auditory abilities to perform job functions effectively.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills are necessary.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and management professionally, maintaining composure in high-pressure situations.
