Position:
Network/IT Manager
KBR is in search of a seasoned Network/IT Manager with a robust background exceeding 10 years in assessing and interpreting current events, delivering strategic recommendations to ensure operational continuity, and managing security protocols. Ideal candidates will possess extensive knowledge in security frameworks, architecture, and configuration, particularly in alignment with Department of Defense requirements. Furthermore, candidates should demonstrate proficiency in effectively integrating security standards and networking specifications across various facilities and mission-oriented programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides expert guidance on security acquisition, engineering, and operational support for all projects and programs, capable of assisting at any phase of the acquisition lifecycle.
- Consults with the Government on cost, scheduling, and performance issues related to networking and IT support.
- Delivers comprehensive technical and programmatic status reports for individual programs or portfolios as requested.
- Offers operational insights to bolster mission protection and data assessments.
- Proposes actionable solutions for technical discrepancies.
- Supports the Government in planning and coordinating infrastructure projects and requirements.
- Leads initiatives to establish capabilities at various sites, addressing both classified and unclassified needs.
- Manages and operates an accredited SCIF/SAPF for Government and contractor personnel.
- Maintains an accredited SAPF and IT environment with direct access to multi-level data services.
- Navigates complex multi-level security environments, data streams, and cloud technologies with expertise.
- Provides technology support in IT configuration and management, including fail-safes and hardware maintenance across multiple networks.
- Advises on digital engineering initiatives for acquisition, sustainment, and launch processes.
- Identifies gaps in digital acquisition and engineering strategies related to networks and cybersecurity.
- Develops a comprehensive inventory of tasks and initiatives to support future digital projects.
- Assists in crafting an integrated digital roadmap to achieve organizational digital objectives.
- Customizes inventory data structures to align with specific requirements.
- Advises on the application of digital acquisition methodologies and tools for program implementation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in developing and executing DoD networking and IT requirements.
- Master's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Systems Engineering, Information Technology).
- Active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in managing an operational SCIF/SAPF.
- Certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or Security+ are highly desirable.
COMPENSATION:
The target salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
