About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead for IT Infrastructure to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and high levels of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure, including hardware and software components.
- Develop and implement technical strategies to improve IT service delivery and reduce downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on technical leadership.
- Strong technical skills in areas such as Linux, Windows, Active Directory, and VMware.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level 2 certification or higher.
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and/or DoD/RMF.
- In-depth working experience in Windows Server.
- Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
- Experience with using Information Technology project lifecycle management processes.
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.
- Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
- High Performance Computing (HPC) experience in a Linux environment.
- Experience hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs.
- Experience with Enterprise Active Directory (AD) & LDAP.
- Scripting Experience.
