Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Novartis Group Companies. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic business plans to drive product demand in the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate clinical dialogue to compel customers to act on behalf of their patients.
  • Identify shared priorities and develop a strategic territorial business plan to drive product demand.
  • Orchestrate in a collaborative manner with territory colleagues and other field-based and home-office personnel teams.
  • Apply expertise and knowledge of the market place to anticipate and efficiently handle business opportunities/challenges.
  • Analyze territory market data and trends to gain insights into the local business environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree plus.
  • 2+ years' experience in specialty pharmaceuticals, biotech, or sales role of similar complexity within the last 5 years.
  • Strong ability to collaborate, work cross-functionally within a matrix environment.
  • Validated track-record of consistent high-performance.
  • Proficient in navigating and successfully selling to large accounts and key customer segments.

Salary: $124,000 - $186,000 per year.

Benefits: Competitive salary range, full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.

Location: Remote position, must reside within the territory or reasonable daily commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border.
