Responsibilities:

Key Accountabilities:


Oversees supplier performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and managing relationships with third-party manufacturers. This includes addressing delivery challenges, facilitating product development, resolving technical issues, and assisting in root cause analysis for quality concerns.

Interprets supplier data and verifies documentation accuracy.


Equips suppliers with essential information to facilitate smooth business operations by coordinating the creation of supplier manuals and acting as a communication bridge between the company and suppliers. Ensures that all products are manufactured in accordance with good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and are delivered on schedule to fulfill customer requirements.

Identifies and assesses potential new suppliers, evaluating their capacity, manufacturing capabilities, and financial stability. May respond to internal cost inquiries and gather vendor quotes.

Develops and implements documentation in Excel, including macros, tables, charts, graphs, and data analytics.

Demonstrates the ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment while also being capable of working independently.


Possesses knowledge of OEM engineering drafting/modeling standards, specifications, and dimensions, including proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Evaluates acceptable material substitutions based on relevant specifications and engineering guidelines.

Interprets and clarifies model-based definition requirements as well as non-CATIA generated drawings.


It is advantageous for candidates to have a comprehensive understanding of aircraft structures, including design considerations for fit, form, and function, as well as basic load path principles.


Exhibits problem-solving and analytical skills necessary for collaborating with suppliers and partners in quality assurance, detailed manufacturing, and assembly operations to identify when engineering changes are required or beneficial for resolving producibility challenges.

Bachelor's degree with 6-9 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 4-7 years of experience.

Preferred
Qualifications:
Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing or the aerospace industry.

Experience in Supplier or Supply Chain Management within the aerospace sector.

Proficiency in manufacturing and supply chain management is preferred.

Skilled in Excel and data analytics tools to create charts, graphs, formulas, and other data entry methods.

Understanding of Root Cause and Corrective Action methodologies and their practical applications.

Familiarity with enterprise software, particularly Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems from SAP Corporation.

Basic entry-level testing will be conducted prior to selection.

Proficiency in dimensions and tolerancing, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Comprehension of process specifications and material specifications.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in parts measurement and inspection.

Experience with Boeing and Airbus engineering, with at least 2 years in a relevant role (Boeing constitutes 90% of all activity).

Self-managed, self-motivated, and self-reliant with minimal oversight required.

High proficiency in identifying problems and determining requirements for resolution.

Experience with Power BI is a plus.
