JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Planner - Aerospace

LOCATION: Wichita, KS

PAY RATE: $37.00 - $47.00 per hour

  • 12-month contract with opportunities for extension

  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Green Card Holder)

  • Must work osite in Wichita, KS

Summary:

  • Leads implementation of fabrication, assembly, or installation plans by coordinating with suppliers, engineering, and manufacturing teams.

  • Develops tooling, interchangeability, replacement, and functional test plans.

  • Defines sequences of events and creates work instructions with text and graphics.

  • Establishes manufacturing datasets, tooling requirements, and bills of material.

  • Collaborates with engineering to clarify and influence design concepts.

  • Manages change incorporation and optimizes processes.

  • Resolves production and postproduction issues.

  • Demonstrates configuration control within the manufacturing build plan.

  • Applies expertise in composites, electrical systems, machining, sheet metal, and structures.

Required Skills:

  • Aerospace Manufacturing experience

  • Phase 1: Aircraft Fuselage Research and determine torque requirements by analyzing engineering drawings, models, and specifications.

  • Phase 2: General manufacturing engineering, including specification plans, bills of material, routing, tooling requests, liaison, and shop floor support.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is critical.
