Overview

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as an authorized representative of the organization, overseeing all supplier-related functions and possessing the authority to allocate company resources through contracts and agreements.

- Conduct thorough research and evaluation of potential suppliers for new business opportunities.

- Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure effective collaboration.

- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, managing the entire process from proposal to award.

- Develop requests for quotations and proposals, analyze supplier responses, and oversee post-award supplier activities.

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.

- Manage post-award supplier activities, including updating supplier profiles and required documentation.

- Oversee inventory levels, simulation, modeling forecasting data, and supplier performance metrics.

- Monitor customer inventory demands and material assets to enhance overall supply chain planning.

- Integrate planning decisions from customers and suppliers to minimize material and product variability, achieving optimal solutions.

- Communicate and track program changes as directed by the Prime/Company.

- Represent and support Integrated Product Teams.

- Manage change effectively and conduct affordability/trade studies.

- Perform estimating tasks and support P&L activities.

- Exhibit decisiveness in complex problem-solving scenarios.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supply chain role, ideally within the aerospace or manufacturing sectors.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.

- Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems is essential.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

- Knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes is advantageous.

- A dynamic personality with a high energy level and the ability to drive change is essential.

- A Security Clearance is preferred but not mandatory at the start of employment; candidates must meet the criteria to apply for one if necessary.
