Key Responsibilities- Serve as an authorized representative of the organization, overseeing all supplier-related functions and having the authority to allocate company resources through contracts and agreements.
- Conduct thorough research and assessment of potential suppliers for new business opportunities.
- Establish and nurture positive relationships with suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage the overall procurement process.
- Prepare requests for quotations and proposals, evaluate supplier responses, negotiate terms, and oversee post-award supplier activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Oversee post-award supplier activities, including updating supplier profiles and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Manage inventory levels, simulation, modeling, forecasting data, and supplier performance metrics.
- Monitor customer inventory demands and material assets to enhance overall supply chain planning.
- Integrate planning decisions from customers and suppliers to minimize material and product variability, achieving optimal outcomes.
- Effectively communicate and track program changes as directed by the Prime/Company.
- Provide representation and support for Integrated Product Teams.
- Facilitate change management processes.
- Conduct affordability and trade studies.
- Perform Bases of Estimate (BOE) and estimating tasks.
- Support and understand Profit and Loss (P&L) activities.
- Demonstrate decisiveness in complex problem-solving scenarios.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supply chain role, ideally within the aerospace or manufacturing sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes is advantageous.
- Dynamic personality with a high energy level and the ability to drive change.
- A Security Clearance is preferred but not mandatory at the start of employment; candidates must meet the criteria to apply for one if required.
