Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as an authorized representative of the organization, overseeing all supplier-related functions and having the authority to allocate company resources through contracts and agreements.
  • Conduct thorough research and assessment of potential suppliers for new business opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and manage the overall procurement process.
  • Prepare requests for quotations and proposals, evaluate supplier responses, negotiate terms, and oversee post-award supplier activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure alignment and efficiency.
  • Oversee post-award supplier activities, including updating supplier profiles and maintaining necessary documentation.
  • Manage inventory levels, simulation, modeling, forecasting data, and supplier performance metrics.
  • Monitor customer inventory demands and material assets to enhance overall supply chain planning.
  • Integrate planning decisions from customers and suppliers to minimize material and product variability, achieving optimal outcomes.
  • Effectively communicate and track program changes as directed by the Prime/Company.
  • Provide representation and support for Integrated Product Teams.
  • Facilitate change management processes.
  • Conduct affordability and trade studies.
  • Perform Bases of Estimate (BOE) and estimating tasks.
  • Support and understand Profit and Loss (P&L) activities.
  • Demonstrate decisiveness in complex problem-solving scenarios.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supply chain role, ideally within the aerospace or manufacturing sectors.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP/ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge or experience in manufacturing processes is advantageous.
  • Dynamic personality with a high energy level and the ability to drive change.
  • A Security Clearance is preferred but not mandatory at the start of employment; candidates must meet the criteria to apply for one if required.
