Administrative Support Specialist

At Smith Seckman Reid, we are seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your primary responsibilities will include developing general correspondence and technical documents for our administrative and technical staff, ensuring timely filing, and maintaining a computer database of standard and specific documents for future reference and retrieval.
Additionally, you will assist our administrative and technical staff in the assembly, reproduction, and distribution of documents for both in-house staff and clients. This may include developing typed documents from drafts or dictation created by our technical staff, assembling typed documents into orderly packages, and assisting management in maintaining orderly correspondence and technical document files.
As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will also be responsible for maintaining efficient and orderly work areas, assisting team leaders and/or project managers with correspondence and communications required to administer projects and serve clients, and performing other administrative tasks assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- High school degree or GED equivalent and one year of applicable experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to lift and/or carry materials weighing up to 30 pounds
