We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Clinical Manager to join our team at Brigham and Women's Hospital. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our imaging services, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of imaging personnel, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and maintaining high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement work schedules, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage for all imaging areas.
- Monitor and report on quality of services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Educator and Lead Radiologic Technologist to onboard new staff and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Ensure effective communication between all shifts, including the preparation and presentation of shift reports.
- Perform quality control checks on exams and equipment, identifying problems and taking corrective actions.
- Assist with the coordination of preventative maintenance and physicist testing schedules for imaging equipment and computers.
- Monitor adherence to federal, state, and hospital guidelines, including DPH, TJC, CMS, ACR, and other regulatory requirements.
- Graduated from an approved school of Radiologic or Imaging Technology.
- Current permanent Massachusetts license as a Radiologic or Imaging Technologist.
- Current certification and registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience as a Radiologic or Imaging Technologist, with experience in specified modality preferred.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
