Position: Clinical Pathologist with a Focus on Informatics

  • We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Pathologist who possesses a strong background in clinical informatics.
  • This position is available at the Assistant or Associate level within the Health Sciences Clinical or Clinical X series.
  • The role emphasizes clinical service, educational responsibilities, and involvement in clinical and translational research.
  • Qualifications include: M.D. or equivalent, valid California medical license, board certification in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology, and fellowship training in Clinical Informatics.
  • Key responsibilities involve evaluating clinical workflows in the laboratories, leveraging Epic Electronic Medical Records systems, collaborating with faculty to improve patient care, and engaging in educational activities.
  • Preferred qualifications: experience with electronic medical records, clinical data management, strong communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively.

This position provides opportunities for engaging in translational research initiatives and participating in quality enhancement projects.

Salary and title will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
