Key Responsibilities- Adhere to Kaiser Permanente's policies and applicable regulations.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver personalized treatment plans for both adults and children facing communication and swallowing difficulties.
- Collaborate with medical professionals to discuss diagnostic results and recommend suitable interventions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Provide expert consultation within interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate and mentor clinical fellows and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
- Participate in the creation of departmental policies and treatment protocols.
- Deliver in-service training sessions on speech therapy techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations and treatment outcomes.
- At least one year of clinical experience in dysphagia management.
- Minimum one year of experience in Speech Pathology.
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current California Speech Pathologist license.
- American Heart Association approved BLS certification.
- National Provider Identifier (NPI) required.
- Thorough understanding of federal and state regulations in healthcare.
- Proficient in applying speech therapy theories and practices.
