Position: School Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellowship

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication capabilities.
  • Collaborate with seasoned Speech-Language Pathologists to create and implement tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students, focusing on areas such as articulation, language comprehension and expression, fluency, and social communication.
  • Engage with educators, parents, and a multidisciplinary team to integrate therapeutic strategies within classroom settings.
  • Track student progress, document therapy sessions, and adjust intervention plans as needed.
  • Participate in screenings and referrals to identify students who may benefit from speech and language services.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Completion of all academic coursework and clinical practicum requirements.
  • Eligibility to participate in a Clinical Fellowship Year as outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • A strong commitment to empowering students and enhancing their communication abilities.
