Regional Sales Manager Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager is a critical member of our sales organization, responsible for driving sales growth in a defined region of the country. They will build engaged, mutually beneficial relationships between Field Controls and key accounts to drive revenue expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute growth strategies at strategic distributors and other identified accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts in the region.
  • Identify opportunities to support customer goals, challenges, and initiatives.
  • Establish relationships with large HVAC contractors and influencers.
  • Build relationships with senior sales managers at key distributors.
  • Collaborate with rep firms or territory managers to penetrate and grow distributor accounts.
  • Develop and implement growth plans for target accounts in the region.
  • Support and convert influencers or contractors at target accounts.
  • Interface with marketing to share customer requirements for marketing support.

The ideal candidate will reside in their defined region of the country and travel as required to customers. Regular in-person visits with customers and periodic visits to the factory in Kinston, NC are necessary. The base salary is $120K, with additional sales commissions or incentives of $60K+ possible.
