QTC Management is on the lookout for skilled individuals to fill the role of Medical Case Specialist within our Veteran Affairs Operations division. In this position, you will represent our organization through direct engagement with military personnel, ensuring outstanding service at every interaction.

Your Role:

As a Medical Case Specialist, you will collaborate closely with veterans and the Veterans Administration to gather, compile, document, track, and validate information from various sources. You will utilize specialized software to schedule appointments and maintain records in our case management systems, ensuring high-quality customer service throughout.

In this fulfilling position, you will also:

  • Handle incoming calls from an automated system.
  • Collect medical histories related to specific conditions.
  • Identify necessary examinations, tests, and specialists for each case.
  • Coordinate appointments for examinees, including follow-ups and rescheduling.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Familiarity with anatomy and medical terminology.
  • Experience in medical scheduling.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in medical coding and documentation.
  • Understanding of military medical evaluations.
  • Vocational training in the medical field, such as Medical Assistant, Certified Medical Coder, or Certified Nursing Assistant.

Typical Work Schedule:

  • Training and work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (CST).

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting pay: $17.20 per hour, with a 3% increase after 90 days and an additional 3% after training completion.
